The
morning was held in sugar beet, running dogs on Field Trial
lines with a variety
of seen and blind retrieves. In the afternoon
two further
tests took place in the sugar beet – one a mark and
a blind,
and the other a blind, with a second blind being placed in
the same
place.
When we all thought it was all over and competitors and helpers
were
enjoying their tea and cakes, it was discovered that five
dogs were
so close in their marks that a run off was needed for
the 2 – 5
